August 25th 2026,
The King Salmon are here and they're here to say. Some are starting to finally enter the river everyday as well as stack up out front of the Salmon River as they are eagerly waiting for the right time and conditions to make their way up the river. We should have another solid month of catching salmon on the lake before the majority enters the river. Saturday afternoon we caught our first mature coho of the season. We've been off the last 2 days because of strong winds which will hopefully be bringing in another fresh pile of salmon. Our remaining dates are limited but not fully gone as we have 2 boats so we have double the availability.

The fishing on Lake Ontario is on fire right now. Going out and catching limits of King Salmon, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout seems to be pretty normal as of lately. Mixed sizes of everything being caught. The Kings have been anywhere from 5-25 pound, the Brown Trout have been anywhere from 3-15 pounds, and the Lake Trout have been anywhere in the 3-20 pound range. As the year progresses the kings are going to put on another roughly 2-4 pounds as they mature and prepare to make their way up the rivers. We have plenty of availability for the month of august so if you're looking to get out with us give us a call or text before its too late!
